SCRIPTURE: And having called ten of his servants, he gave to them ten minas and said to them, ‘Do business until that I come back (Luke 19:13).
POINT FOR THE DAY: In this our Generation’s manna will not fall from heaven, is through work God blesses his people.
Beloved, it has been established from the scripture that God almighty himself is the originator, the establisher, the ordainer of work. God our maker is a worker, he is not an idle God, but a workaholic God.
The book of genesis gave us an account of how God made the earth 6 days and rested on the 7 days. Thus, God, our creator is a workaholic God, which is why those who refuse to work cannot be blessed by God.
For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it ( Exodus 20:11).
Beloved this our time manna will not fall from heaven; the order has changed. The order now is God will bless the work of your hand, the order now is those who do not work should not eat.
For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10).
The LORD will open the heavens, His abundant storehouse, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none ( Deuteronomy 28:12)
Beloved in this generation manna will not fall from heaven, the order now is God shall bless the work of your hand. Something that God hates seriously is laziness, which is idleness is the refusal to utilize the minas that he gave us.
The hand of the diligent will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor (Proverbs 12:24).
Through laziness the roof caves in, and in the hands of the idle, the house leaks (Ecclesiastes 10:18).
The sluggard will not plow because of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing (Proverbs 20:4).
Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, for in Sheol, where you are going, there is no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom (Ecclesiastes 9:10).
IN WHAT AREA SHOULD YOU ENGAGE IN WORK?
- THE AREA OF YOUR PASSION
One fundamental area in which as God’s children we should engage in work is our area of passion, your passion is your portion. If you love to cook is where you should engage in work, if you love to play football is where you should engage in work, if you love to build is where you should engage in work. What you love doing is a clue to what you should be doing
- THE AREA OF YOUR EDUCATION
Another area you should engage in work is your area of education. What you are trained, maybe you are a doctor, you are a teacher, you are a tailor, you are a driver, what you are trained to do, engage in work there. God has the promise to bless you as far as you engage in doing something that will help humanity and glorify him. Another fundamental area where we should engage in work is our area of education. What you are wired to do, what you are trained to do, and what you have the idea to do. What you are trained to do that you can do well is a pointer to where you should engage in work.
- THE AREA OF YOUR INSPIRATION
This is another area to engage in work, your area of inspiration is another area to engage in work, maybe you got inspiration from the lord, but it might not be what you have passion for, it might be not what you are even trained to do. But when you got the inspiration to do it. Engage in work there.
In conclusion, something our heavenly father hates seriously is laziness because he is a worker, those who are not working cannot be blessed by God.
REMEMBER THIS: In this our Generation’s manna will not fall from heaven, the order has changed and the order is that God shall bless the work of your hand.
COUNSEL:
- Beloved avoid idleness at all cost
- Beloved love working
- Beloved engage in work
- Beloved whatever you can do, arise and do it
- Beloved do not sit down in the morning at home doing nothing, if you don’t have a job move out and look for a job.
- Beloved do all it takes to engage in doing something that can help humanity and contribute to your eternity
PROPHETIC PRAYERS
- This season Jehovah shall bless the work of your hands in all ramifications in Jesus’s name
- This season whatever you put your hand to do as is in line with God’s word, it shall flourish in Jesus’s name
- Any things not of God in your body, I declare as you see this post, that things are terminated forever in Jesus’s Name
- The Lord shall keep you and all your loved ones far from all evil in Jesus’s Name
- The grace to live for God in uprightness is released upon you in Jesus’s Name.
